Sonia is a registered Investment Advisor Representative. Prior to pursuing her passion in personal finance and investing, Sonia had a rewarding career as a licensed civil engineer for over 10 years. Strong ethics are essential for civil engineers to prioritize the safety and welfare of the public. When transitioning to a career in finance, a fiduciary model was the perfect fit as it helped her maintain her core beliefs in ethics and in helping others. As a fiduciary advisor, she now provides advice that is in the best interests and welfare of her clients and helps them achieve their life goals.
Sonia and her husband Chris enjoy homeschooling their 3 children. In her free time, Sonia teaches pre-calculus to homeschooled students and mentors at-risk students at a public high school. She also enjoys gardening, reading, Bible studies, and camping with her family. She loves animals and has 2 rescue dogs and 2 cats. She has a special interest in teaching financial education and in real estate.
