Dawn is originally from Sioux Falls, SD but always felt a pull towards the mountains. In 2003 she and her two children, Chelsea and Caden, decided it was time for a new adventure. They packed their belongings and moved to the Springs. Dawn received her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and was offered a position as a Legal Secretary II for the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office, prior to her graduation. She has experience as Office Manager for Cottonwood Center for the Arts, an Employment Specialist/Recruiter and a small business owner.
Dawn has been a singer in various groups and has performed in various locations including The Broadmoor and in Las Vegas. She began playing the cello in elementary school and continued through high school. Several years later, she performed with a guitar and cello duo and was the in-house cellist for a recording studio. She has also been a member of ASCAP and is a published Author of Lyrics. She loves photography, the outdoors and spending time with her children and spoiling her grandchildren, Madison, Jayden and Rae Lynn.
