Dez began his career at Northwestern Mutual after studying and playing baseball for Wheaton College. After Northwestern Mutual, Dez partnered with Scott to form Maia Wealth. Dez specializes in asset optimization, retirement analysis, tax mitigation, and business succession planning.
Dez has a strong background in philanthropic work and brings that same passion to Maia Wealth. Like the other partners, Dez's strong passion for improving the lives of each one of their clients helps in guiding him to present the most sound financial recommendations. He is continually improving himself and collaborating with fellow advisors in the industry through the many forums and training sessions that he attends throughout the year.
After playing collegiate baseball, Dez never let his passion for sports or any athletic endeavor fade. After nearly a decade in Denver, Dez and his family moved to Chicago to start a new Maia Wealth office. He looks forward to continuing to grow and share Maia’s mission while also staying involved in various charities that support children and economic empowerment in the community.
